Steve BradleyABOUT US

Two Wheel Workshop is a dedicated motorcycle workshop that offers a personal service to you for the care and maintenance of your motorcycle. There are two of us here, myself Jenny and Steve, we both served our time in the workshop of a Main Motorcycle Dealership before setting up Two Wheel Workshop in 2005.

Motorbikes are our love and passion and we take great pride in our work and enjoy what we do.

We have continued with our racing efforts through the years, and when we're not working on your bike during the week we are racing ours at a weekend. Please have a look at our racing website www.jennytinmouth.com

Steve (Brad) Bradley, became a motorcycle mechanic at the age of 17, working initially for a Chester based dealership but was quickly snapped up by a 250 and 350 Grand Prix racer. As a GP race mechanic Steve traveled around Europe for a full year during the 1976 Grand Prix race season.

Steve's obvious talent for bike mechanics meant he was soon poached by a French GP racer and it was not long before Steve was offered a full time job as mechanic for the Frenchman but at such a young age Steve found the thought of living abroad for long periods a daunting prospect and accepted a increased pay offer for his old job at his former employers in Chester.

Steve was vital in the development of the relatively young motorcycle dealership, implementing vital improvements to the workshop and business as a whole and ultimately managing the workshop as foreman.

Steve served 30 years within the company in which time he attended many manufacture training courses, including all the major Japanese manufactures, BMW and Triumph. He was also the head M.O.T tester and quality controller. As Foreman Steve Managed all aspects of the workshop, from the ordering of stock to maintaining work flow.

Steve has a vast amount of experience, he has worked on hundreds if not thousands of bikes during his career, working on every possible type and encountered every possible problem, there’s pretty much nothing he doesn't know and we quite often find ourselves with bikes from other dealers and from friends in the the trade who know they can turn to us.

Jenny TinmouthI (Jenny Tinmouth) first began motorcycle mechanics at the age of 19, attending a college course on motorcycle mechanics as an introduction to the occupation and to help me achieve my racing ambition by enabling me to look after my own race bike.

In 1999 I began work at the same Chester based dealership as Steve, offering to work for free at weekends whilst I was still at college. I was soon promoted to a full time position when my college commitments were reduced to one day a week and then completed my college course and was fully qualified by mid 2000. I learnt most of my trade from Steve and from fellow mechanics at the dealership as well as my own experiences through the years.

I also attended many manufacture training courses during my time at the dealership including all the major Japanese manufactures and Triumph and I also became a qualified M.O.T inspector.

I began racing during 1999, competing in local club meetings to begin with until eventually moving to British Championship level in 2003, I was the only female in the series at the time and am really proud to have gone on to achieve many firsts for women in the sport and to have gained two Guinness World Records recently when I became the fastest female to lap the Isle of Man TT course on my first attempt and at my first ever pure road race and I was the first female to compete in the British Superbike Championship.

A summery of my main achievements are below and I hope to contiune with my racing for as long as possible, everything has only been acheivable thanks to our small team of me and Steve, with the help of friends, family and some fantastic sponsors.
